Near Field Communication (NFC) is a short-range wireless connectivity standard that allows compatible devices to communicate and exchange data without touching. NFC is a subset of Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology that uses a base transmission frequency of 13.56 MHz to transmit data over a distance of about 10 centimeters.
Meeting all NFC application needs, RFIDMarket offers a comprehensive range of NFC tags and NFC readers. NFC-enabled gadgets are divided into two categories: active and passive. NFC-enabled devices, such as cellphones, can send and receive data. These gadgets are capable of communicating with one another as well as with other passive devices. Passive NFC devices, such as tags, do not have their own power source and can only communicate with other NFC devices.
Despite the fact that NFC communication is confined to close proximity communication, there are a number of NFC applications that offer great value and convenience to users. Access control, consumer electronics, transportation, payments, healthcare, information collecting, information exchange, coupons, and tickets are just a few of the applications for which NFC devices are excellent.
